Hingoli district in Maharashtra was jolted by a mild earthquake on Saturday morning, causing concerns among local residents. The earthquake registered a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter Scale and resulted in tremors being felt at 7:04 am and again at 7:12 am.
The seismic event was accompanied by a loud sound that reverberated through many villages, instilling fear in the hearts of the villagers. Areas such as Pimpaldari, Amdari, Rajdari, Sonwadi, Jalaldhaba, Nandapur, Pangra Shinde, Kurunda, Sindagi, Potra, Laxman Naik Tanda, Tamti Tanda, Kupati, Wapti, Hingni, Khed experienced the distinct plate-like sound. Moreover, the tremors were also felt in Hingoli city itself.
