Nagpur, India: A minor altercation between two motorists in Kalamna escalated into a scuffle on the evening of August 9, 2024, prompting the local police to register cases against both parties involved. The incident occurred between 9:15 PM and 10:30 PM in front of Gotmare Petrol Pump, within the jurisdiction of Kalamna Police Station.

According to reports, the dispute began with a minor accident between an Activa rider and a motorcyclist, which quickly escalated into a heated argument. The confrontation led to the formation of two groups, resulting in a minor brawl. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.

Following complaints filed by both groups, Kalamna Police have registered cases under Sections 115(2), 352, 351(2), 191(2), 192, and 194(2) of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.

In response to the situation, Kalamna Police have issued a public appeal, urging citizens not to believe or spread any rumours about the incident. The authorities have warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found to be spreading false information or engaging in activities that could incite further unrest.
