A 24-year-old driver in Hasanbagh kidnapped a minor girl and raped her on February 19. The accused have been identified as, Sham Alias Bittu Prashant Belkhode of Jai Jalaram Nagar, has been arrested by Wathoda police.

The accused and the minor victim have known each other for a long time. the accused usually comes near her house for work. on the day of the incident, the accused took the victim to Wathoda, to show her a cooler company on the pretext of treating her with a pain puri.

The accused raped the victim and gave her death threats if she tells anyone about the incident. The victim got scared, however, she confidently told her mother about the incident. Her mother filed a complaint to the nearby police station. currently, this case has been registered under the POCSO Act. 

The case is underway.
