Protesters belonging to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) took action on Tuesday by vandalizing an Amazon India office. Their demonstration aimed to express displeasure over the presence of Pakistani flags and a book, which they alleged were offensive to Hindu religious sentiments, being offered for sale on the e-commerce platform.

According to local sources, a group of individuals forcefully entered the Amazon office located in the Ganeshpeth area and proceeded to cause significant damage. In a formal letter addressed to Amazon India Limited, signed by prominent local MNS figures Chandu Lade and Vishal Badge, it was stated that the platform was offering Pakistani flags for sale, items that were associated with activities perceived as being against the nation. The letter also raised concern about a book titled "Deadly Bhagavat Geeta" being sold on Amazon, claiming that it contained content that disparaged the Bhagavad Gita. The MNS leaders urged Amazon to remove the book from their platform.
