Nagpur, India: A shocking theft has been reported from the 1008 Shri Sheetalnath Digambar Jain Temple in the Great Nag Road area of Nagpur. A group of thieves stole an ancient idol from the temple in the early hours of Friday (28th). The incident has caused panic among locals, and the police have launched an investigation.

According to reports, the temple is regularly visited by devotees, and it is locked every evening after prayers. Currently, construction work is underway on the flyover pillars in front of the temple, making the area relatively busy. However, on Friday morning, a devotee who visited the temple noticed the idol was missing.

Upon receiving the information, the temple management committee rushed to the scene and checked the CCTV footage. The footage revealed that a thief had entered the temple and stolen the idol. Following a complaint by Mukesh Jain, the police have registered a case and are actively investigating the matter.
