The Nagpur City Police has recently welcomed a new addition to its team, with the appointment of IPS Archit Chandak as its eighth Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). Prior to his appointment, Chandak served as the Additional Superintendent of Police in Biloli in Nanded District.

The transfer of Chandak to the Nagpur City Police was officially confirmed by the Maharashtra Home Department on Tuesday. This appointment comes after the recent appointment of seven other DCPs to the Nagpur Police Commissionerate.

With the addition of Chandak, the Nagpur City Police now has a strong and experienced team of eight DCPs who are committed to ensuring the safety and security of the city. This new development is expected to bring in new perspectives and ideas to the team, and further strengthen the efforts of the Nagpur City Police in maintaining law and order.
