Nagpur: Today's hearing in the District and Sessions Court, Ritika Maloo was ordered to be placed in police custody for three days in connection with the Ram Jhula hit-and-run case.

This decision was made after the prosecution filed a revision petition, challenging a previous ruling by Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Archana Khedkar-Garad, who had rejected the request for police custody.

During the hearing, the prosecution argued that police custody was necessary to continue investigating Maloo's involvement in the case. The court agreed, overturning the earlier ruling and granting a 10-day police custody remand for further questioning.

The Ram Jhula hit-and-run case has attracted widespread attention due to its ongoing legal battle and the controversial nature of the incident.
