Nagpur, India: In a move towards sustainability, Central Railway's Nagpur Division has installed an advanced Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) with 250 litres per day at the Ajni Coaching Complex. The system, commissioned in November 2024, highlights the division's commitment to eco-friendly practices and efficient resource management.

The AWG uses cutting-edge technology to extract water directly from the atmosphere, providing a reliable and environmentally friendly water supply. By reducing reliance on conventional water sources, the initiative aligns with Indian Railways' efforts to conserve water and meet operational needs sustainably.

This innovative system is expected to fulfil the water requirements of the Ajni Coaching Complex while contributing to Indian Railways’ broader mission of resource optimization and environmental stewardship.
