As the December 7 assembly session of the Maharashtra Legislature approaches, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is actively preparing to meet its responsibilities. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari has assigned various tasks to officers, instructing them to complete their assignments within the designated timeframe.

NMC, entrusted with responsibilities ranging from drinking water and sanitation to health, electricity, road maintenance, and fire department operations, has set the wheels in motion. The Assistant Commissioner of General Administration is specifically tasked with providing xerox machines, operators, stationery, and other essential supplies to the Principal Secretary of Town Planning and the desk officer.

Following the directive, Dr. Gajendra Mahalle, Deputy Commissioner and Director of the Solid Waste Management Department, will oversee routine cleaning activities around Vidhan Bhavan's premises, exterior roads, Ravi Bhawan, Hyderabad House, and other key locations. His responsibilities also include ensuring the removal of stray animals from the area and arranging mobile restrooms near gatherings and demonstrations.

The repair of roads in Vidhan Bhavan, Ravi Bhavan, Ramgiri, and other surrounding structures falls under the purview of Hot Mix Plant Ajay Dahake, the Executive Engineer.
