Nagpur, India-  Pardi Police have booked the driver of a trailer truck involved in a tragic accident that resulted in one death and one injury on Thursday evening.

According to police sources, Amit Bhagwat Chaurey (30), a resident of Ramnagar, Kanhan, and Arjun Khanna Gaikwad (39), a resident of Pipri, Kanhan, were returning home on their bike (MH/31/AT/2696) around 6:45 pm. As they crossed the Jabalpur-Hyderabad Bypass near Pardi, a trailer truck, reportedly driven recklessly, collided with their vehicle. Both Amit and Arjun sustained severe injuries and were immediately taken to the Government Hospital in Kamptee. Unfortunately, Arjun was declared dead on arrival, while Amit survived with injuries.

Following a complaint by Amit, Pardi Police have booked the truck driver under Sections 106(2), 125(A)(B), and 281 of the BNS, along with Sections 134, 184, and 177 of the Motor Vehicle Act. A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the accused driver.
