Nagpur Police and NMC Officials Review Arrangements for PM’s Tour
PM Narendra Modi will visit Nagpur on 30th March to lay the foundation stone of Madhav Netralay. Security inspections and route checks have been conducted to ensure smooth arrangements.

Nagpur, India: The city is ready to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will visit Nagpur on 30th March for a day-long tour. His visit is special as it falls on Gudhi Padwa, the Hindu New Year.
During his visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Madhav Netralay Premium Centre near Vasudeo Nagar Metro Station on Hingna Road. He will also share the stage with Dr Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
After landing at Sonegaon air base, PM Modi will first visit Dr Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh, where he will meet RSS office-bearers and Pracharaks. Later, he will go to Deekshabhoomi to pay tribute to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. His final programme will be the foundation-laying ceremony at Madhav Netralaya.
To ensure smooth arrangements, Nagpur City Police and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials conducted inspections of all the places where the Prime Minister will visit. Police Commissioner Dr Ravinder Kumar Singal and Municipal Commissioner Dr Abhijeet Chaudhari inspected the entire route that PM Modi’s convoy will take.
This inspection was carried out before the visit of the Special Protection Group (SPG), which will give final instructions for the security arrangements. Senior officials, including Joint Commissioner of Police Nisar Tamboli, Additional Commissioner of Police Sanjay Patil, and Additional Municipal Commissioner Ajay Charthankar, were also part of the inspection. Representatives from Madhav Netra Pedhi and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti were present at the respective locations to oversee the preparations.
With these inspections completed, Nagpur is fully prepared for PM Modi’s visit.
