The arrest occurred at around 8:05 AM during a routine patrol when the police noticed the man acting suspiciously and attempting to flee upon seeing them.

The suspect, identified as Sheikh Arbaj Sheikh Aleem from New Mhada Colony, Samrat Ashok Nagar, Nagpur, was promptly taken into custody. Upon searching him, the police discovered a country-made pistol valued at approximately ₹3,000, hidden in his waistband.
