Nagpur, India: A tragic incident has been reported by the Koradi Police, in which a 16-year-old girl was molested by a young man who asked for physical pleasure and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about him.

On 11th January around 2:30 pm near Koradi Police Station, the 16-year-old minor was walking in her locality, when the accused Ashish Khumraj Bop (24), resident of Phulenagar, Mahadula, Nagpur, approached the minor on a motorcycle. 

The accused started molesting her and forced her to engage in physical relationships. Upon rejection, the accused kept demanding physical pleasure from her and committing an act that would make her feel ashamed.

The accused also threatened to kill the minor and her family if she told anyone about the matter. The girl swiftly went to Koradi Police Station and filed a complaint about the accused.

A case was registered against the accused at Koradi Police Station under sections 751(1) and 351(2) of the IPC and Section 12 of the POCSO Act and the accused has been arrested.

Further investigation is underway.
