Nagpur Police Busted Sex Racket at Heaven Spa in Bajaj Nagar
Nagpur Crime Branch's Social Security Branch busted a sex racket at Heaven Spa in Bajaj Nagar, rescuing three victims and arresting the accused, Seema Anshul Bawangade. Cash and evidence worth ₹37,385 were seized. Investigations are ongoing.

Nagpur, India: The Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Nagpur Crime Branch busted a sex racket operating out of Heaven Spa in Bajaj Nagar on December 10. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the spa, above The Hair Club Salon near SBI Bank, and arrested the accused, 36-year-old Seema Anshul Bawangade.
Bawangade, a resident of Buddha Nagar near Kamal Chowk, is accused of running a human trafficking racket under the guise of a massage parlour. Investigations revealed she lured women and young girls with promises of financial benefits and forced them into prostitution.
During the raid, three victims were rescued, and cash along with other evidence worth ₹37,385 was seized. Police have registered a case against Bawangade under Section 143 of the BNS Act and Sections 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
Bawangade has a prior record, with a case previously filed against her under the Immoral Traffic Act at Gittikhadan Police Station.
The operation was led by SSB Police Inspector Kavita Isarkar, who led a team that included officers Laxman Chaure, Ajay Paunikar, Sameer Shaikh, Kunal Masram, Nitin Vasne, Lata Gawai, and driver Poonam Shende.
The raid was conducted under the supervision of senior officials, including Police Commissioner Ravinder Singhal, Joint Police Commissioner Nisar Tamboli, Additional CP (Crime) Sanjay Patil, DCP (Crime) Rahul Makanikar, and ACP (Crime) Abhijit Patil. Further investigations are underway.
