Nagpur Police Recover Stolen Items Worth ₹4.83 Lakh, Arrest Four Suspects
Four men have been arrested in Nagpur for their involvement in a robbery and vehicle theft, with stolen goods worth ₹4.83 lakh recovered. Police uncover a network of crimes spanning multiple regions.

Nagpur, India: Nagpur police have arrested four men involved in a robbery and vehicle theft. The arrests were made after a robbery on 21st January 2025.
Around 2:00 PM, Babnarao Sitaram Magarde, a 62-year-old man from Nagpur, was riding his moped between Dighori and Umred Road when two men on a motorcycle snatched a bag with ₹3 lakh from him and ran away.
The police registered a case and, after gathering information, set up a trap near KDK College Road. They caught the suspects, who were identified as Vasudev Mohanlal Nat (45), Somkumar Shivprasad Nat (35), Dharmendra Mohanlal Mina (40), and Savan Kumar Nehrulal Nat (29), all from Chhattisgarh.
The suspects admitted to the robbery and also confessed to an attempted robbery in Nandanvan and a theft in Savner. They also told police about two vehicle thefts in Chhattisgarh.
Police recovered four mobile phones, two motorcycles, two helmets, and ₹3.18 lakh in cash, worth around ₹4.83 lakh, from the suspects.
The operation was led by senior police officials, and the suspects are now in custody while investigations continue.
