Nagpur Police Raid Locations, Seize Illegal Liquor, and Arrest Multiple Suspects
Police conducted raids on illegal liquor operations, seizing various types of liquor and arresting several suspects across the city.

Nagpur, India: In a series of coordinated raids, multiple police teams cracked down on illegal liquor operations across various police station areas within the city police jurisdiction. Beginning on October 26 and continuing into the early hours of October 27, the operation resulted in the seizure of Mohphool and locally-made liquor at several sites.
The human trafficking prevention squad from the crime branch conducted a raid on Ravi Shakulal Tambe (51) near Barasignal, Borkar Nagar Nullah, within Imamwada Police Station’s jurisdiction, seizing 10 liters of Mohphool liquor. In a separate operation under Hingna Police Station, authorities confiscated 15 bottles of country-made “Bhingri” liquor, valued at Rs. 1,050, from Sanjay Namdev Lambat (54) at Wagdhara, Naya Gumgaon, near the Wagdara river bridge.
In further operations, police seized 13 bottles of liquor, valued at Rs. 910, from Deepak Madhu Sanodia (27), who was allegedly selling liquor openly in front of Sanodia Dhaba under Pardi Police Station. Acting on a tip-off, police also stopped a Jagirdar Travels bus (registration no. CG/08/M/0474) in front of Prakash Krishi Vidyalaya on Bhandara Road, where they recovered 110 bottles of liquor worth Rs. 3,850. The driver, Mohd Yunus Mohd Yusuf (47), a resident of Ramnagar, Rajnandgaon, was taken into custody.
