The Nagpur Division of Central Railway is planning major upgrades to several railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. This scheme aims to improve station facilities and make travel more comfortable for passengers.

The stations that will be upgraded include Ghoradongri, Betul, Amla, Junnardeo, Multai, Pandhurna, Narkhed, Katol, Godhni, Sevagram, Pulgaon, Dhamangaon, Hinganghat, Chandrapur, and Balharshah.

The upgrades will include:

• Better Station Access: Roads will be widened, obstructions removed, and better signs will be put up for easier entry and exit.

• Larger Waiting Areas: More space will be created to reduce crowding and make it easier to move around.

• Modern Waiting Halls and Toilets: Waiting areas and restrooms will be upgraded for more comfort.

• Lifts and Escalators: These will help people with disabilities, senior citizens, and those carrying heavy luggage.

• Cleanliness and Free Wi-Fi: There will be improvements in cleaning and free internet access for passengers.

• Improved Platforms: The platforms will be made more accessible, with extended covers for shade.

• Better Parking and Transport Links: More parking spaces will be created and the stations will be better connected to road transport.

These upgrades aim to make stations more modern, accessible, and convenient for passengers travelling through the Nagpur Division.
