Nagpur Records Rise in Temperature, More Heat Expected

Nagpur records a rise in temperature, with daytime at 35°C and night at 19.4°C. Vidarbha districts also experience increasing heat.

Nagpur has witnessed a significant rise in temperature over the past 24 hours, with both daytime and nighttime temperatures increasing beyond normal levels. According to the Meteorological Department, the morning temperature soared to 35°C, which is 4°C above normal, while the night temperature also climbed by 3.2°C, reaching 19.4°C.

This rise in temperature is not limited to Nagpur alone, as other districts in Vidarbha are also experiencing increasing heat levels. Weather experts predict that the temperature will continue to rise in most parts of Vidarbha in the coming days, bringing warmer conditions across the region.

On Tuesday, Akola recorded the highest temperature in Vidarbha at 36.8°C, making it the hottest place in the region. Other districts also reported high temperatures, with Brahmapuri and Washim reaching 36°C, Wardha recording 35.9°C, Amravati at 35.6°C, and Yavatmal at 35.5°C.

Similarly, Chandrapur saw a temperature of 35.4°C, Bhandara recorded 34.8°C, Gadchiroli 34.6°C, Buldhana 34.5°C, and Gondia 34.2°C. With rising temperatures already being felt, residents are advised to take precautions against the heat as Vidarbha braces for warmer days ahead.
