Nagpur, India: The wait is over as Nagpur gears up to host an international one day match after six years, bringing back the thrill and excitement of top level cricket.

India will play against England at Nagpur’s Jamtha Stadium on February 6.

This will be the first meeting between India and England at Jamtha Stadium, hosted by the Vidarbha Cricket Association.

Nagpur’s climate has always been favorable for India, with Virat Kohli shining as the highest Run Scorer at Jamtha Stadium. 

Rohit Sharma also holds an impressive record, ranking third in terms of runs scored.

Following their defeat to Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, Team India has a strong opportunity to recover and make a comeback in the series against England.

Though the Indian team for the match against England has not been announced yet, cricket fans in Vidarbha are already excited to see their favorite players hitting fours and sixes in Nagpur.

In addition to the one day match, the most recent Test match between India and Australia was held at Jamtha Stadium from February 9-11, 2023.
