Malhar Sable, a junior boxer from Center Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, won the DSO Boxing Competition held at the Mankapur Sports Complex from September 4 to 6, 2023, in a stunning display of tenacity and talent. Malhar, who competed in the Under-17 age division and weighed between 46 and 49 kg, displayed great skill throughout the competition's numerous rounds.

Malhar demonstrated a magnificent ascent to the competition's summit, facing each challenge with a brave heart. His first victory came in the quarterfinals when he prevailed via Referee Stopped Contest (RSC), showcasing his effective strategies and committed attitude toward the game. He advanced to the semi-finals, displaying strength and quickness, and soundly defeating his opponent with a score of 5-0. His unwavering drive propelled him all the way to the finals, where he triumphed. This remarkable achievement was made possible by a Referee Stopped Contest in the very first round, which marked a commanding conclusion to his campaign.

He deservedly won a spot in the forthcoming divisional level event thanks to this run of excellent results. Malhar has developed into a strong fighter under the guidance and mentorship of Mr. Pritam Pinjarkar and Mr. Mehboob Ansari, an accomplished coaching team, and is now prepared to take on even bigger challenges.
