Gadkari described life as a journey filled with compromises, compulsions, limitations, and contradictions. Reflecting on the political landscape, he termed it a "sea of dissatisfied souls," where every individual aspires for a higher position.

Using examples, Gadkari noted that a councillor dreams of becoming an MLA, an MLA aims to be a minister, and a minister aspires to the role of chief minister. Even a chief minister, he said, lives under constant anxiety about being asked by the party high command to step down. These remarks have sparked conversations in political circles, particularly against the backdrop of the current political scenario in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra's Political Deadlock

Ten days after the Maharashtra Assembly election results were declared, the state is yet to see the formation of a new government. The BJP has announced December 5 as the date for the swearing-in ceremony. However, the Chief Minister’s position remains undecided.

While Devendra Fadnavis is the front-runner for the role, an official announcement is still awaited. The BJP Legislature Party is expected to finalize the decision soon.
