After the Sakhpuda program ended, Mileki was heading to the village on a two-wheeler when he was involved in an accident. A rapid, unidentified vehicle struck his bike from behind.
This regrettable occurrence happened on Monday at around 10.30 a.m. on the Nagpur-Chandrapur route under Butibori thana, close to Jangeshwar village. The deceased are Gird and include Suchita Sudhir Dandekar (40), Khushi aka Samridhi Sudhir Dandekar (16), Hinganghat, Wardha, and Puniram Yenurkar (60).
The sources claim that on Sunday, Puniram's relative underwent a sakhrapuda program. To take part in it, he had traveled to Nagpur with his granddaughter Khushi and daughter Suchita.
On Monday morning, following the conclusion of the Sakhpuda program, all three of them departed for Gird aboard two-wheeler MH-32/AM-1996. He was riding his bike in the Butibori area on the Nagpur-Chandrapur route when it was rear-ended by an unidentified car and severely damaged.
Each of the three fell back. Puniram, meanwhile, perished instantly when the car's wheel passed over his head. Khushi and Suchita suffered severe injuries. People flocked to the location. Following his report of the event to the police, Mileki was taken to a Butibori private hospital. But both passed away while receiving care.
As soon as they learned about the collision, the Butibori police arrived on the scene. The medical hospital received all three bodies and sent them for post-mortem testing. Based on a complaint by Puniram's son Amit Yenurkar, the police have opened a case and begun an investigation against the driver of the unidentified vehicle.
