Out of Control Auto Rickshaw Crashes on Kamptee Road in Nagpur
A couple from Gondia, enroute to a wedding, was seriously injured as their auto rickshaw collided with a car near Orange City Park, Kamptee Road.

Nagpur, India: A serious accident occurred around 6 p.m. near Orange City Park on Kamptee Nagpur Road when an out of control auto rickshaw crashed into a car, resulting in severe injuries to a couple. The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the New Kamptee Police Station.
The injured have been identified as Tarana Irfan Khan, 38, and her husband, Irfan Khan, 40, residents of Civil Lines, Mori Square, Gondia. The couple had traveled by train from Gondia to Kamptee to attend a family wedding at Shere Punjab Lawn in Nagpur.
Tarana and Irfan boarded an auto rickshaw (MH40, 0506) at Kamptee Railway Station, heading towards Nagpur. While on Kamptee Nagpur Road near Orange City Park, the auto rickshaw suddenly lost control, collided with an oncoming car, and overturned. Both sustained serious injuries in the crash, and bystanders promptly took them to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
