Nagpur, India: A pick-up van, believed to be smuggling cows for slaughter, crashed into a divider while trying to escape the police near Kelwad on Jamsaoli Road on Saturday, January 25. The crash, which happened around 7:30 a.m., was filmed by a group of youths returning from Jamsaoli. The video, captured by Deep Yadav, Shubham Pashine, Kalpesh, and Rohan Khobragade, quickly went viral on social media.

Shubham Pashine said the van was carrying 13 cows, which were poorly packed and hidden under crates. The crash was so strong that one cow died at the scene. "We rescued the other cows and took them to a shelter home," Pashine said.

The police in Kelwad have arrested the driver and are investigating the incident.

This accident highlights concerns about illegal cattle transportation and has led to calls for stronger action to stop animal cruelty and unlawful slaughter.
