In a recent operation, the Nagpur Police's Social Security Branch made a significant breakthrough by raiding the Natural Unisex Salon near Bole Petrol Pump Square, under the Sitabuldi police limits. Acting on a tip-off, officers discovered a sex racket being operated from the salon.
During the raid, authorities detained a woman believed to be the main operator, identified as Muskan alias Manisha Arvind Bharti, aged 35, residing at Flat No. 114, Vasant Vihar, Amravati Road, Wadi. Additionally, four young girls who were victims of the racket were rescued by the police.
The raid also resulted in the confiscation of three mobile phones valued at Rs 70,000, condom packets, and Rs 8,000 in cash, indicating the scale of the illicit activities.
Prior to the raid, the police received confidential information suggesting the presence of a prostitution racket at the Natural Unisex Salon. To confirm the allegations, an undercover officer was deployed, who successfully negotiated with the woman pimp for services. Following this, law enforcement swiftly moved in, detaining the suspect and rescuing the victims.
The detained woman now faces charges under Sections 4, 5, and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act. She has been handed over to the Sitabuldi police for further legal proceedings.
