Nagpur, India: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis shared his vision for the state’s progress at a ‘Meet the Press’ event in Nagpur, stressing his commitment to grounded and responsible leadership. “I face every challenge with courage, and power never goes to my head,” he remarked.
Fadnavis announced a development for regions like Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Gondia, Bhandara, and Wardha, promising strong attention to infrastructure and industrial growth. “These areas will be key in driving Maharashtra’s progress and prosperity,” he said. He also committed to reducing electricity tariffs within the next two to three years to provide affordable energy for citizens.
Additionally, Fadnavis unveiled plans for a Digital Media Policy aimed at regulating and enhancing the use of digital platforms to support the state’s growth. “This policy will help Maharashtra keep pace with the digital era,” he stated.
The event provided a platform for the Chief Minister to reflect on his government’s achievements and outline a future roadmap for sustainable and inclusive development across the state. He also addressed people's doubts about his role as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, emphasizing his focus on governing effectively. Despite criticism, his grounded nature strengthened his position as a leading candidate.
