Rashmi Chatterjee from the city recently clinched the prestigious title of Mrs India 2023-24 along with the additional honour of Best Ramp Walk. The achievement came following her participation in the Mission Dreams Mrs India 2023-24 event, held in Kolkata and organized by Darween Thappa and Priyambada Nayak.

Among 63 contestants who navigated through six rounds to reach the finale, Chatterjee stood out, particularly showcasing Indian culture through her attire in the national costume round. Her training, provided by Imran Sheikh, Fashion Choreographer, and Payal Shahu, Pageant Coach, at the One Direction Modeling Academy in Nagpur, played a crucial role in her success.

Expressing gratitude, Rashmi acknowledges the unwavering support and encouragement from her husband Sudiptio Chatterjee throughout her journey. This marked Rashmi's inaugural participation in a ground-level show, and she aspires to intensify her efforts in the future, aiming to bring pride to herself, her family, and mentors by representing India at the international level.
