Nagpur, India: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Nagpur reunited a 12-year-old boy with his family after he was found abandoned at Nagpur Railway Station. Woman Constable Urmila Sharma saw the boy on Platform 1 during her routine patrol.

The boy was confused and was unable to confront the RPF Officers. Sub-Inspector Priyanka Singh, along with Constable Sharma and Childline volunteer Nitesh, carefully questioned him. The boy was identified as Shlok Virendra Kumar, who had arrived in Nagpur from Surti village in Bihar's Purnia district with his uncle. Shlok explained that his uncle had left him alone at the station and disappeared.

Authorities ensured the boy’s safety by placing him in a shelter while contacting his family. The RPF confirmed that Shlok was reunited with his parents and informed the local police in Bihar to assist with the process.
