Nagpur, India: The State Home Department has given approval for the creation of the Garoba Maidan Police Station in Nagpur. The new station will be formed by splitting the areas of the Nandanvan and Lakadganj police stations, serving approximately 150,000 people.
A funding of Rs 65,16,800 has been allocated for the station’s establishment. Once it becomes operational, Garoba Maidan will be the 35th police station within the Nagpur Police Commissionerate, aimed at improving policing in the region.
