In an unexpected turn of events, actor Samarth Jurel pulled out of the reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14' at the last moment because of a leg injury. Initially set to join the adventure series hosted by Rohit Shetty, Samarth's injury has forced him to step back.

A source close to the show confirmed, “Yes, it's true. Samarth will not be heading to Romania for 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14'. He was all set to be a contestant, but he had to opt out due to his leg injury.” Attempts to get a comment from Samarth’s team have not been successful so far.

With Samarth's exit, the show will now feature 12 celebrities: Abhishek Kumar, Shilpa Shinde, Asim Riaz, Sumona Chakraborty, Ashish Mehrotra, Krishna Shroff, Karanveer Mehra, Aditi Sharma, Shalin Bhanot, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Niyati Fatnani, and Gashmeer Mahajani. Samarth was among the first five contestants confirmed for the show and had previously expressed his excitement about the opportunity.

“After the rollercoaster ride that was 'Bigg Boss', I find myself once again at the doorstep of an extraordinary opportunity, one that will test the depths of my courage like never before. 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' is a different kind of challenge – one that demands not only mental strength but also physical prowess. I can’t put into words the thrill of performing stunts in new adventure places. It’s a chance to redefine the boundaries of what I thought possible,” Samarth had said earlier.

Recently, Samarth appeared on 'Bigg Boss 17', entering as a wild card contestant alongside his then-girlfriend, Isha Malviya. The couple has since broken up. Samarth, in a recent interview, mentioned that their relationship ended due to Isha's opportunistic behaviour.

“She is a big opportunist. For example, during the Holi event, we had stopped talking, but she started speaking to me again just before the event, asking if I was coming. She took me outside because the paparazzi were there, so it would look like we were together,” he explained.

As 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14' prepares for another exciting season, the show will go on without Samarth Jurel, who will be missed by his fans and the show's participants.
