Mumbai: The show India's Got Latent is in trouble after YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, made a controversial comment. His remark has sparked public anger, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that anyone crossing the limits of decency will face action.

Two lawyers from Mumbai, Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra, have filed a complaint against Allahbadia and comedians Samay Raina and Apoorva Makhija. They wrote to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and the State Women's Commission, saying the remarks insulted women and should lead to legal action. They want the show to be cancelled and an FIR registered.
A viral clip shows Allahbadia asking a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day or join in once to stop it forever?" The lawyers say this kind of content spreads vulgar thoughts and is harmful to young viewers.
Many people, including journalist Neelesh Misra, have criticised the show. He said, "I am not surprised that people in the audience laughed at this. They are normalising and celebrating it." Congress leader Supriya Shrinate also condemned the comment, calling it "perverted" and dangerous.

This is not the first time India's Got Latent has faced controversy. Recently, contestant Jessy Nabam was in legal trouble over comments about eating dog meat. The show has also been criticised for mocking actress Deepika Padukone’s struggles with depression.
On social media, people are demanding a ban on the show. One user wrote, "Sex jokes, vulgar language, racism—this is being passed off as dark humour. India's Got Latent should be banned."
The creators of the show have not yet responded, but the backlash raises questions about the limits of free speech in entertainment and whether the show can continue after this controversy.
