On December 17, at 11.30 a.m., Union Minister Niti Gadkari will make the Khasdar Krida Mahotsav program in Bhai Bardhan Hall, Kingsway Hospital building, in the presence of internationally renowned Indian athlete Hima Das. On this special occasion, flags from the event will be donated to a number of sporting organizations.

The guests will include Jitendra alias Bunty Kukde, the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Nagpur City, as well as legislators Krishna Khopde, Vikas Kumbhare, Mohan Mate, Pravin Datke, Sudhakar Kohale, Sameer Meghe, and Tekchand Sawarkar.

The sixth sports festival promises to be even bigger and more visually stunning than the previous five. 66 grounds will host the sporting event. A total of 65,000 athletes representing 1050 teams will compete in 55 different sports. There will be 12,500 matches total, with 8980 medals and 735 trophies up for grabs. The winners will get awards totaling Rs 1.35 crores.

Sandip Joshi, the former mayor and event convenor, has urged the sports organizations to continue showing out in big numbers. Members Nagesh Sahare, Padmakar Charmode, Dr. Sambhaji Bhonsale, Dr. Vivek Awsare, Dachin Deshmukh, Ashfaq Sheikh, Amit Sampat, Satish Wade, Sachin Mathne, Sunil Manekar, Laxmikant Kirpane, Dr. Saurabh Mohod, Ramesh Bhandari, Prakash Chandrayan, and others are Secretary Dr. Piyush Ambulkar, Treasurer Ashish Mukim, are working hard towards success.
