Nagpur, India- Residents across various city areas will face a disruption in water supply on June 26 due to a scheduled power outage announced by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL). The blackout, planned from 10 am to 4 pm, is necessary for maintenance work on the 33 KV NMC express feeder at Navegaon Khairi.
Affected areas include Laxmi Nagar, Dharampeth, Hanuman Nagar, Gandhi Bagh, Mangalwari, Satranjipura, Nehru Nagar, and Ashi Nagar. The shutdown will impact operations at the Pench-1, Pench-2, Pench-3, and Pench-4 Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), leading to the temporary suspension of the water supply.
Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements for temporary water storage to minimize inconvenience during this period. The MSEDCL has assured that the maintenance work is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the power supply infrastructure in the region.
