Sex Racket Busted at Sparsh Salon Academy and Spa on Wardha Road, Nagpur

Nagpur Crime Branch busts a sex racket at Sparsh Salon Academy and Spa on Wardha Road. Four women rescued, accused arrested, and investigations underway.

Nagpur, India: Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Nagpur Crime Branch busted the sex racket in Sparsh Salon Academy and Spa at Laxmi Vihar Complex on Wardha Road on November 29. The raid, conducted between 5:15 PM and 10:10 PM, uncovered a sex racket was being operated under the guise of a body massage parlor.

The accused, Manoj alias Raja Ramesh Bandewar (24), a resident of Laxmi Vihar Apartment, was arrested during the raid. Police reported that Bandewar lured women and girls with financial promises and forced them into sex racket.

Police rescured 4 women, during the operation, and items worth ₹31,605 were seized. A case has been registered against Bandewar under Section 143(3) of the Bombay Nursing Homes (BNH) Act and Sections 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, at Sonegaon Police Station.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of senior police officials, including Nagpur Police Commissioner Ravinder Singal, Joint Police Commissioner Nisar Tamboli, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sanjay Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rahul Makanikar, and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Abhijeet Patil.

The raid team led by Police Inspector Ravindra Naikwade from the Anti-Extortion Cell, along with officers Shivaji Nanaware, Sheshrao Raut, Ashwin Mange, Nitin Wasne, Kunal Masram, and Lata Gawai, supported by government vehicle driver Punam Shende.
