Nagpur, India: During a late-night raid between Wednesday and Thursday, the Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Nagpur Crime Branch busted a sex racket operating from flat no. 18 at Aakar Builders in Chitnavis Nagar Layout, near Pagalkhana Chowk.
The operation led to the arrest of Arpana Sachin Naik, 40, and Firoz Khan Abdulla Khan, 52, a resident of Gaddigodam. Both were charged under the relevant sections of the PITA Act. The police also detained a juvenile delinquent and rescued two women who were found at the scene.
The raid was conducted following a tip-off received by the SSB team, led by PI Kavita Isarkar. The information indicated that a sex racket was being run from the flat. Upon confirming the details, the police moved in and discovered the accused involved in offering money to women for engaging in illicit activities.
An offence has been officially registered, and investigations are continuing to gather further evidence and details related to the case. The police are working diligently to ensure justice is served and any other individuals involved are identified.
