Sitabuldi Police held Nagpur youth for engaging in public indecency while driving, sparking legal action and public scrutiny.

Nagpur, India- Sitabuldi Police in Nagpur has pressed charges against Suraj Rajkumar Soni, aged 28, following an incident on Sunday night. Allegedly, Suraj was driving with a female companion seated on his lap along Dharampeth Road. The matter came to light after videos, showing the pair engaged in intimate behavior, circulated on social media platforms.
According to police sources, Suraj, a chartered accountant, was driving a car with registration number MH/31/AF/6506. His companion, identified as a mechanical engineer, was also in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Sitabuldi Police have invoked Sections 125, 281, 293, and 296 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (Indian Penal Code), Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and Sections 110, 112, and 117 of the Maharashtra Police Act against Suraj Soni in connection with the incident.
