Nagpur, India:  A tragic incident unfolded in Hudkeshwar, Nagpur, leading to a murder case being filed against a juvenile (17-year-old) in conflict with the law and a woman. The case arose after a heated argument turned deadly between a 57-year-old man, Makush Shankarrao Shende, and his minor son, resulting in the man’s death.

Makush Shende, who lived with his wife, Urmila Shende, and their 17-year-old son on rent at Tarachand Bhongade’s house in Hudkeshwar, had a drinking problem. He frequently abused his family after consuming alcohol. On the night of January 19, 2025, around 10:00 PM, Shende returned home drunk and began verbally abusing his wife and son.

This led to a fight between Makush Shende and his son, during which the minor pushed Shende off the bed. Shende began to bleed from his nose, but things escalated when the son reportedly strangled him with a towel, causing his death.

Following the murder, the deceased’s wife, Urmila Shende, tried to cover up the crime with her son. They placed the body in a sack and attempted to erase any evidence of the crime by cleaning up the blood stains with phenyl.

The incident came to light after Mangesh Wamanrao Shende, the complainant and relative of the deceased, filed a formal complaint. Based on his report, Hudkeshwar Police registered a case under relevant sections against the juvenile and the woman involved in the crime.

Investigation is underway, and further details will be revealed as the case progresses.
