Nagpur, India-  An elderly man, identified as 60-year-old Ratnakar Dixit, tragically lost his life on Monday morning when a speeding school bus collided with his bicycle in Nagpur. The incident occurred at 8:30 AM as Dixit travelled from Chhota Tajbagh to Tukdoji Chowk.

CCTV footage captured the harrowing moment when the bus struck Dixit from behind, causing him to lose control of his bicycle and fall onto the road. The bus then ran him over, resulting in fatal injuries.

In another tragic incident, a 23-year-old man, Rahul Khairwar, was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday night. The accident took place at around 11:20 PM on the Katol Road bypass. Unlike the earlier incident, no CCTV footage is available near the scene.

Khairwar, a native of Madhya Pradesh, was struck by an unidentified vehicle. Authorities have registered a case against an unknown person, and an investigation is underway.

These back-to-back accidents have raised concerns about road safety in Nagpur, highlighting the need for stricter traffic regulations and more vigilant enforcement.
