Sports for Change District Level Championship 2023's 4th Edition comes to an end in Nagpur

The "Sports for Change District Level Tournament 2023" concluded with a thrilling football match played at Nagpur's Mankapur Stadium. Through the "Pitch for Progress" program, Krida Vikas Sanstha (Slum Soccer) and the HCL Foundation collaborated to actively involve almost 1500 people in sports including football, volleyball, kabaddi, and athletics throughout NMC schools in Nagpur.
More than 180 athletes from NMC and affiliated schools in Nagpur, Umred, and Saoner competed in the athletics competition at Mankapur Stadium. They displayed their abilities in events including the shotput, ball throw, long jump, high jump, and sprint (60 and 600 meters).
At the Ramcooler Chowk Kabaddi competition, Mahal watched fierce matches between 29 teams in the boys' and girls' divisions. For the ladies, Sanjay Nagar School won, and for the boys, Vidya Sadan Jaitala School took first place. At Ramcooler Chowk, on the other hand, 14 teams competed in the boys' and girls' Kho-Kho divisions. Priyadarshani School was victorious in both divisions, exhibiting exceptional collaboration.
In the volleyball division, Samarth Vyam Shala Ground hosted fourteen teams. With great sportsmanship, Banarasidas Ruiya High School Katol won both the girls' and boys' divisions. In the MAK Azad School Carrom competition, more than fifty eager players took part. For the females, Hindustan School won, and for the boys, Vishakha School took first place.
There were sixteen teams competing in both the boys' and girls' football divisions at Mankapur Stadium. In the boys' division, Vishakha High School triumphed, and in the girls' division, Hindustan Vidyalay became the winners. Over a thousand players demonstrated their exceptional talent and sportsmanship in these district-level sports.
