Nagpur, India-  The Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Nagpur Crime Branch arrested three drug peddlers on Tuesday and seized MD drugs and other items worth ₹8.45 lakh. The accused are Rohan Suresh Dhakulkar (28), and Shubham Suresh Dhakulkar (28), both from Pavanputra Nagar, Umred Road, and Vedant Vikas Dhakulkar (24) from Netaji Market, Dhantoli.

The police, led by Senior Police Inspector Kavita Isarkar, were on patrol when they saw several young men acting suspiciously on an Activa scooter. Upon searching them, the police found 71 grams of MD drugs worth ₹7.1 lakh. They also confiscated four mobile phones, an Activa scooter, and ₹22,500 in cash.

The accused have been charged under Sections 8(C), 22(C), and 29 of the NDPS Act at Hudkeshwar Police Station. Further investigation is ongoing.
