Nagpur, India: A tragic accident at Gokul Dairy Chowk in Kalamna claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy and left his friend injured. The accident happened around 12:45 AM on Tuesday when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle.  

The victims, Ayush Pritam Avchat (17) and Aman Jagdish Mankar (21), were riding a Honda Shine bike when the truck crashed into them. The driver of the truck fled the scene after the accident.  

Both Ayush and Aman were rushed to Mayo Hospital. Later, Ayush was moved to another hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Aman is still receiving treatment at Medical Hospital.  

Ayush’s uncle, Prashant Avchat, filed a police complaint. Kalamna Police have registered a case against the absconding truck driver and are trying to find him.
