Permission to host the World Super Kabaddi League (WSKL) 2025 has been formally given by the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF). The Kabaddi Association of Thailand and the South East Asian Kabaddi Federation (SEAKF) are working together to arrange the league.

IKF praised the commitment and vision of SJ Uplift Kabaddi Private Limited, the WSKL's organizing body, in a congratulatory statement.
"Kabaddi league formation is no easy task.

In addition to having a thorough understanding of the game, it also calls for outstanding organizational abilities and a dedication to advancing this age-old sport. As cited in the IKF press release, "Your efforts will motivate young athletes and greatly contribute to the growth and popularity of kabaddi."

Before taking the field, players from IKF member nations will compete in a player auction as part of the WSKL. In addition to giving participants a chance to show off their abilities, this will make the league a world-renowned competition.

To ensure a long-term vision for the league's growth and prosperity, the South East Asian Kabaddi Federation (SEAKF) handed SJ Uplift Kabaddi Private Limited the entire and exclusive rights to organize the WSKL for a period of 15 years earlier this year in August.

Furthermore, SJ Uplift Kabaddi Pvt Ltd was approved by the Kabaddi Association of Thailand as the "sole and exclusive creator, conceptualizer, and rightsholder of the league."
