Thief Steals Cash and Gold Ornaments Worth ₹10.06 Lakh in Hudkeshwar

Nagpur, India: A shocking theft occurred in the Hudkeshwar area on Sunday afternoon, where gold ornaments worth ₹10.06 lakh and ₹50,000 in cash were stolen from a house.

The incident took place at the residence of Rajendra Pandurang Dahikar (63), a resident of Plot No. 37, Adiwasi Nagar, Uday Nagar Road. Dahikar, who runs a shop on the ground floor of his house, had closed the shop’s shutter and gone upstairs to rest on the first floor.

Between 1 pm and 5:45 pm, an unidentified thief bent the shutter and broke into the house. The intruder made away with the valuables while Dahikar was unaware of the break-in. Upon discovering the theft, Dahikar immediately informed the Hudkeshwar police.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Police are working to identify the thief and recover the stolen valuables.
