Thieves Attack Guards While Stealing Iron Materials from Koradi Power Station, Two Arrested

Thieves tried to steal iron from a power station, Guards caught two, but three escaped after throwing stones.

Nagpur, India: A group of thieves attempted to steal iron materials from the Koradi Thermal Power Station (KTPS), which is operated by the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company.

The security guards spotted the thieves and tried to stop them, but the thieves threw stones at them and ran away.

During this, the security guards cordoned off the area and managed to catch two of the thieves, while three others escaped.

The arrested thieves have been identified as Arjun Ashok Lashkare (19) from Kavapar, Mahadula, and Raju Bhau Rao Bodke (56) from Machi Market, Koradi.

The missing thieves are Manish Vasnik, Shubham Jadhav, and Rahul Dukare, all from Mahadula. The police are actively searching for them.

The complainant, Jayantkumar Bhatkulkar (41) from KTPS Colony, is a security officer at Mahajenko.

At around 4:30 AM, the security guards informed Jayant that some individuals had entered the premises without permission and were attempting to steal iron materials from a dump yard. When Jayant confronted them, the thieves threw stones at him and tried to escape.

The Koradi police arrived at the scene and arrested the two caught thieves along with the stolen materials. They are continuing their search for the remaining suspects.
