Thieves Steal Rs 5.01 Lakh Cash and Gold from KTPS Official’s Residence
Thieves made off with cash and gold ornaments valued at Rs 5.01 lakh from the official residence of Shivkumar Durgaprasad Dwived

Nagpur, India- Thieves stole cash and gold ornaments totalling Rs 5.01 lakh from the official residence of Shivkumar Durgaprasad Dwivedi, Deputy Engineer at Koradi Thermal Power Station (KTPS), on Thursday.
Dwivedi, who lives in Quarter No. 03, Type IV, Building No. 09, KTPS Colony, was in Mumbai for official work from June 11 to June 13, when his house was locked. The burglars broke in by smashing a window grill, taking Rs 25,000 in cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 4.76 lakh from a cupboard.
After Dwivedi filed a complaint, Koradi Police registered a case under Sections 454, 457, 380, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
