On Monday, thirteen Police Inspectors (PIs) were transferred to various police stations and units across Nagpur city.

PI Chandrashekhar Sukaji Chakate has been transferred from Nagpur (Rural) to Nagpur City and will now take charge as the In-Charge of Sitabuldi Police Station. PI Manohar Hiralal Koreti, previously stationed in Chandrapur, has been reassigned to Nagpur City’s Special Branch.

PI Manish Haridas Bansod from Amravati Police has joined the City Police’s Economic Offences Wing. PI Nitin Chandra Rajkumar, formerly the Crime PI at MIDC Police, is now the In-Charge of Ajni Police Station. PI Atul Mohankar, who served as Crime PI at Sitabuldi Police Station, will now lead Kotwali Police Station.

Senior PI Manisha Varpe has moved from Kotwali Police Station to Sadar Police Station, where she will be the Crime PI. PI Prashant Pande has been appointed in charge of Kalamna Police Station, following his previous role in the MIDC Traffic Zone.

Senior PI Kirankumar Kabadi has been transferred from Ajni Police Station to the Police Control Room. Senior PI Vinod Godbole from Hingna and Senior PI Gokul Mahajan from Kalamna have both been reassigned to the Economic Offences Wing.

PI Rupali Bawankar will now serve as the Crime PI at Beltarodi Police Station, after her tenure at Ambazari Police Station. PI Suresh Mattami has moved from Yashodhara Nagar to Pardi Police Station as Crime PI. PI Ramesh Khune is the new Senior PI of Yashodhara Nagar Police Station, previously serving at Wadi Police Station.

In addition, five Assistant Police Inspectors (APIs) who were promoted to PIs have also been transferred:

• Rahul Wadhve, PI (Crime) at Tehsil Police Station
• Suhas Raut, PI (Crime) at Yashodhara Nagar Police Station
• Sarang Mirashi, PI at MIDC Traffic Zone
• Nageshkumar Chatarkar, PI (Crime) at Hudkeshwar Police Station
• Prashant Thawre, Senior PI at Hingna Police Station.
