Nagpur, India: With the India-England ODI cricket match set to take place at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Jamtha on Thursday, Nagpur Traffic Police have implemented a strict traffic management plan to prevent congestion on Wardha Road.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Archit Chandak has warned that any vehicle parked improperly along Wardha Road or on routes leading to the stadium will be towed away. To enforce this, five towing vans will be stationed near the stadium for immediate action.
To ensure smooth traffic flow, spectators are advised to reach Jamtha at least two hours before the match. A designated parking area has been set up in front of the DM premises, where traffic personnel will be present to assist motorists. Additionally, parking zones B, D1, and D2 near the stadium have been allocated for four-wheelers, with extra spaces to be arranged if required.
Authorities have urged the public to follow the traffic guidelines to avoid inconvenience and ensure a hassle-free experience on match day.
