A tragic accident in Saoner, Nagpur, claimed the life of a young man, Vijay Dahat, after he was hit by a crane near the Saoner bus stop on Sunday. Dahat had stepped out to buy household essentials when the unfortunate incident occurred.  

According to eyewitnesses, the crane was moving from the bus stop towards Gandhi Chowk when it struck Dahat, causing severe injuries. Locals immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.  

Following the incident, the police registered a case against the crane operator and launched an investigation. Residents have raised concerns about the rising number of road accidents in Saoner, blaming encroachments and lack of proper traffic management. The accident has sparked renewed discussions on the need for better road safety measures in the area.
