Tragic Night on Roads: Fatal Mishaps in Khaparkheda, Kamptee and Kuhi
Four people were killed and eleven injured in three separate road accidents in Khaparkheda, Kamptee, and Kuhi areas of Nagpur.

Nagpur, India: Four people lost their lives, and eleven others were injured in three separate road accidents in Khaparkheda, Kamptee, and Kuhi areas late Monday night and early Tuesday.
Khaparkheda Incident: Car Crashes Into Stationary Bus
The first accident occurred around 1 am near Dahegaon Rangari in Khaparkheda when a speeding car crashed into a stationary bus. The car, which was returning from a wedding in Madhya Pradesh, was driven by Satish Kawarti (resident of Kamal Chowk, Nagpur), who died instantly. His wife Sulochana (32), sister Jyotsna Sirsam (30), and relatives Usha Uike (62), Surendra Uike (32), and a 4-year-old child, Rajat Sirsam, sustained severe injuries. The family dog was also killed in the crash.
The injured were taken to Mayo Hospital, while Rajat was transferred to Medical Hospital. A case of negligent driving has been filed against the deceased driver at Khaparkheda Police Station.
Kamptee Incident: Two Youths Killed in Motorbike Collision
The second accident took place around 12.30 am near Sai Baba Temple on the Nagpur-Jabalpur National Highway. Two motorcycles collided head-on, killing Aryan alias Ayush Kasture (19) from Hamalpura, Kamptee, and Javed Pathan (19) from Machhi Market, Kanhan.
Three other men — Arbaz Shah (24), Zuber Khan (22), and Prem Meshram (20) — were critically injured and are currently being treated in a private hospital. Police have registered cases under the relevant sections of the BNS and Motor Vehicle Act.
Kuhi Incident: Car Overturns, Woman Killed
In the third accident around 12.30 am on Tuesday, a car lost control and overturned at Kuhi Phata flyover on the Umred-Nagpur Highway. The car, carrying Neelam Krishna Shende (22) from Pimpalgaon, Bhandara district, crashed after her husband Krishna Shende (32) was distracted by a loud noise. Neelam was killed instantly, and Krishna, their 3-year-old daughter Devanshi, and passenger Hemant Sawatkar (23) suffered serious injuries.
The family was returning from a wedding in Kurja, Chandrapur district. A case has been registered under applicable sections of the BNS at Kuhi Police Station.
Authorities are investigating all three accidents.
