Nagpur, India: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced a planned power shutdown at the 33 kV Gorewada Substation on Tuesday, April 23. The outage will take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work, including tree trimming along the overhead high-tension line running through the forest between Parsheoni and Khairi.

The shutdown will disrupt operations at the Navegaon-Khairi Raw Water Headworks and the Gorewada Water Treatment Plants (Pench I, II, III, and IV), temporarily halting the supply of treated water across several parts of the city. The Orange City Water (OCW) has requested citizens in the affected areas to store water in advance and use it judiciously.

Areas Likely to Be Affected:

OCW has advised consumers to direct queries or report concerns via the NMC-OCW Helpline at 1800 266 9899 or email contact@ocwindia.com.
